(More customer reviews)I bought this along with the bit driver extension and 40-bit assortment to keep in my vehicle. I've had them less than two months and have already been grateful to have the tool handy in the center console on a few occasions. The included tools combined with the bits meet a lot of common tool needs. I also had bit kit from OSH I now carry in the vehicle, because they work nicely with the multi-tool, as well.
I have had trouble with other multi-tools in the past, either for not having the necessary tools or being awkward to use. I have no trouble with this one, and it's comfortable to handle. It's a very reasonable weight, too, not as heavy as some I've had in the past, despite having a great selection of blades. The blades are easily accessed, and the saw is very handy.
I wanted the nylon sheath rather than the leather, but found two model numbers (with different prices) that seemed to describe identical products, both with the nylon sheath. A little research revealed the following:
830037 - Leather sheath - Box
830038 - Nylon sheath - Box
830039 - Leather sheath - Clam pack
830040 - Nylon sheath - Clam pack.
I opted for the 830038, nylon/boxed version, mainly because it was (at least when I purchased) less expensive than the clam pack. I hope this helps anyone else wondering about the various model numbers.
