(More customer reviews)This is in response to a previous review, not to negate what they said at all, but to ask the question whether or not they knew what they were buying.The MUT EOD was designed for Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Breaching personnel.The "cheap" parts are very valuable to those of us who carry a black rifle (AR-15, M4 or M-16) as part of our job. The bolt clearing device works extremely well and can put you back in the action in seconds, rather than needing to "sit this one out".Having scored at least one firing pin with disastrous results, I am thankful Leatherman put the softer bronze cleaning blade on this tool.Nothing on the MUT EOD was a mistake.The parts that can wear out are easily replaced (wire cutter, scraper blade, etc.) and the rest of the tool is sturdy enough to take some very serious punishment.My suggestion is simply this: If you don't need a C-4 punch or det-cord cutter/crimper, get the utility version of the MUT.It is excellent for the handywork of daily living and doesn't have the job specific items that the EOD does.But, if you need the EOD tools, this is simply the best you can get.Rugged, ready and a real lifesaver when you need it.
