(More customer reviews)It's hard to believe, but Leatherman have actually managed to improve on their fantastically useful "Wave" model tool.The addition of a leather awl with a hole for heavy nylon thread is an absolute miracle of compact tool engineering.With this most recent addition I was recently able to stitch the sole of my companion's boot back on after it became partially detached while leaving a canoe on the banks of the Congo River just below the falls, north east of Kisangani.My companion was so impressed that I decided to get another of these fabulous tools as a gift for him as well.
You won't be disappointed.I've used Leatherman tools for over 20 years.No other brand comes close in craftsmanship or innovation.Makes my 40-year old Swiss Army knife look home-made (and not by a skilled craftsman either!). The inclusion of the heavy sewing awl means that the last of my emergency kit has finally been consolidated into a single pocket-sized tool.
